Serfaus – Fiss – Ladis is a well-known ski resort located on a plateau above the Oberinntal valley in Austria. This ski resort is highly popular among families, and for good reason. With its large and varied ski area, excellent facilities for children, and great accommodations, Serfaus – Fiss – Ladis family ski resort has everything families need for an enjoyable ski vacation.

Excellent Facilities for Children

Serfaus – Fiss – Ladis has excellent facilities for children. Serfaus offers a unique learning experience for children with its dedicated area, Kinderschneealm, designed for teaching skiing. The area features a “magic carpet” that is fully covered and decorated for children, a play area for younger children, and several smaller children’s pistes. Serfaus is the perfect location to teach your children to ski.

In addition, the instructors are specially trained to work with children. There’s always plenty of snow in Serfaus!

Serfaus – Fiss – Ladis offers great accommodations for families. There are various types of accommodations available, such as hotels, apartments, chalets and even all-inclusive family resorts. The ski resort has many family-friendly accommodations that offer special services for families, such as babysitting services, kids’ clubs, and family rooms. In Serfaus, there are some highly rated all-inclusive hotels that I would recommend for a hassle-free family vacation. However, the price level for most accommodations is quite high. Fiss offers the best location in the resort, with plenty of family-friendly hotels and apartments. Personally, I would avoid Ladis as it is on the outskirts of the resort where you will lose atleast a half hour per day to take the Sunliner lift up and down. If you want to cut the budget a little bit you can also stay in the nearby villages Prutz or Ried.

There are many dining options available in Serfaus – Fiss – Ladis, from mountain restaurants to traditional Austrian restaurants. Families can enjoy a meal together in a cozy and welcoming environment. As always the price level in Austria is pretty modest and in general they’re very hospitable.

The Zwölferbahn (Fisser Nordseite) offers wide slopes where you can have a blast, and the snow is often better because it’s less affected by the sun.
